Scena Shines at the GASROE GS3 Annual Conference 2025
The Georgia Alliance of School Resource Officers & Educators (GASROE) gathered safety professionals from across the state in Columbus, GA, for the GS3 Annual Conference on June 2–5, 2025, at the Columbus Convention & Trade Centergasroe.org. Billed as a forum that “calls all SROs, administrators, nurses, counselors, and educators to come together and train as a School Safety Team” gasroe.org, the event offered four days of certification classes, breakout sessions, and a bustling vendor show gasroe.org.

Showcasing the SecureTwin™ Ecosystem
For the second consecutive year, Scena’s booth became a launchpad for lively conversations with SROs, police chiefs, and school administrators about turning digital twins into everyday safety tools. Live demos highlighted how SecureTwin:
-
Transforms training – immersive virtual walk-throughs let officers and staff rehearse response plans in a photo-realistic copy of their own campus.
-
Enriches data – Datamark INSIDE overlays authoritative indoor GIS and addressing layers, enabling faster room-level dispatch and routing.
-
Drives simulation – RSET’s scenario engine feeds real-time variables (occupancy, asset locations, IoT sensors) so teams can practice decision-making under pressure.
Attendees experienced incident “mini-scenarios” on tablets, then stepped into a VR headset to see the same scene from the first-person view of an arriving SRO—connecting policy to practice in seconds.
Key Take-Aways
-
Unified vocabulary: Educators and law-enforcement leaders echoed GASROE’s message that joint training breaks down silos and builds common operating pictures.
-
Indoor-mapping momentum: Districts see floor-level geodata as the missing link between 911 dispatch and classroom reality.
-
Data stewardship: Questions shifted from “What is a digital twin?” to “How do we keep it current?”—a conversation Scena and its partners are uniquely positioned to answer through annual re-scans and live data hooks.
